Cuidhe Leathain (pronounced
coo-lane) and roughly translated from the Gaelic as MacLean's Corner, is a
traditional Highland house within the conservation area of Tobermory, the

esteemed grocer's and draper's and at one time, what is now the sitting room
was the doctor's surgery. As the doctor was also the dentist, there are
locals who still recall the terror of setting foot over the threshold. The

fireplaces and are furnished with a wealth of paintings and photographs.
