The headquarters of our holidays would be our house.
It is completely new, just finished, and it has the
best view in the whole valley. If the weather permits,
you can stare straight at Triglav, from the first
moments you open your eyes in the morning to the
evening meal in front of the house
There
are 2 floors with rooms, 2 rooms in each floor and 2
beds in each room, totaling 8 beds. Additional 2 beds
in another room can be added if necessary. Each floor
has a bathroom with shower. The ground floor is
comprised of a living room and a kitchen. We actually
have 3 terraces around the house to choose from,
depending on the temperature. Down in the village,
there are several small groceries, shops, restaurants,
a cinema and a small museum featureing World War I
exchibition. There are also several farms, which
mostly keep cows. They pass our house twice a day, in
the morning on their way to the pastures and in the
evening back home.

If you drive from Ljubljana
along the picturesque Krka Valley, a totally different world suddenly
opens up to you at Soteska. The Dolenjske Toplice Basin (Topliška
kotlina) which emerges is surrounded by the low vineyard-covered hills
and vineyard cottages of Dolenjska and the mysterious Kočevski Rog on
the right. In the midst of the basin lies the town of Dolenjske Toplice.
It was named after its thermal spring (37 - 38 oC), which gave a special
seal to the development of the town and its surroundings.

ruime woon-eetkamer met airco, radio en satelliet TV. Er is een van alle

dispersed settlement founded by Tyrolean colonizers. It lies high above
Baška grapa, on the sunny side of the gentle slopes of Rodica, east of the
Runža brook. Its somewhat separate part is called Na Runži (“On Runža”).
Stone-built multi storey Alpine houses have certain characteristics of
houses in the Primorska region. The village is accessible from the road that
branches off from the Bača pri Modreju - Podbrdo road in the village of
Koritnica and continues through the valley of the Koritnica brook.
