An eighteenth century Inn
on the water front close to The IronBridge. The White Hart has been
around since before The Bridge was built and almost certainly
accommodated craftsman and construction workers during the building of
the bridge. There is also evidence to suggest that on occasions some of
these workmen also used the bar! The White Hart has been developed by
Malthouse Pubs, into a light, modern pub, influenced by continental
style, although it still retains a traditional air in its atmosphere and
warm welcome.
The menu is simple but
up-to-the-minute, with lots of comfort appeal, with homely things like
steaks and pasta as well as contemporary, global touches to keep things
lively. Our wine list contains well known favourites, alongside little
numbers from around the world. The upstairs Dining Room seats forty, is open
everyday for lunch and dinner, and is also available for small events,
functions and weddings. It has fantastic views over the River Severn. The
White Hart is also developing four en suite rooms which will open late in
2005.

If you
are looking for somewhere relaxing and comfortable to
stay in Ironbridge then this could be just the place
for you. Built in 1850 by the Fox-Davies family,
Coalbrookdale Villa is a larger than life Victorian
Gothic style Ironmasters House. Extravagantly built,
as only the Victorians could, the house has many
fascinating features and offers plenty of private
parking spaces in the drive with security lighting at
night.
Surrounded
by large well kept gardens you feel as if you are in
the heart of the countryside but are in fact only 10
minutes walk from the centre of Ironbridge and the
world's oldest Iron Bridge. Walk in the opposite
direction and you will arrive at the Museum of Iron in
approximately 5 minutes and also pass two very popular
local Pubs - one of which is famous for serving at
least 8 different real ales - some of which should
carry a "wobbly leg warning"!!
The
Best Western Valley Hotel. Conveniently located with
Telford Town Centre and the M54 motorway just a five
minute drive away, The Best Western Valley Hotel is

The Shakespeare Inn is over
200 years old situated in the heart of the world heritage site of the
Ironbridge Gorge, and within easy walking distance to the Coalport China
Museum, the Blists Hill Museum, the Maws Craft Centre and the famous

Mediterranean and European dishes, traditional Sunday lunches, together with
an extensive wine list. Booking is highly recommended to avoid
disappointment. For the discerning beer enthusiast, we are a member of CAMRA
and serve a selection of real ales changing daily. We have a very large
three tiered beer garden incorporating a children’s play area with views
over the Gorge and River Severn. We have a good choice of home cooked
