travellers who want to stay with a Dutch/Kiwi family

Belmont
Farm is 206 acres of flat & rolling pasture land
on which we graze beef and sheep, plus the Arab horses.
The farm has a lovely tranquil atmosphere, perfect for
a relaxing getaway. We are also located quite close to
two Golf Courses, Lake Karapiro and nature walks and
less than an hour to Tauranga, Rotorua, Taupo and
Hamilton. Play tennis on the lawn (court currently
being developed). Enjoy looking around trendy Tirau's
many very interesting antique and craft shops, maybe
visit the Toy Museum @ Castle Pamela or dine in the
wide choice of cafes and eateries.
Belmont
Farmstay is a lovely sunny, self-contained, modern two
bedroom cedar cottage with queen, double and single
beds, bathroom, laundry, kitchen and a large lounge /
dining area. Belmont Farmstay is located just 2km
North of Tirau on the main S.H.1. Our farm entrance is
off Paparamu Road which is the first turn to your
right after leaving Tirau and passing the turnoff to
S.H.27 (to Matamata). We are No. 40 Paparamu Road
which is the first driveway on the right.
Op onze farm hebben wij accomodatie (met
eigen keuken, douche en wc) voor 2 personen voor een kort verblijf. Ideaal

Waxeyes, the Finches and the NZ Wood Pigeon, all sharing our cottage garden.
Our Homestay B&B is decorated to our tastes, and is a comfortable Home away
from most Homes. It is NOT upmarket. It is a home you either Love or Hate.
Our HOME is only 15 mins ( 20 km ) from the tourist town of Te Anau. The
Cottage" is ideally situated to visit all of Fiordland's scenic wonders,
Doubtful Sound, Milford Sound, Te Anau and the many walks in the area
including a wonderful easy walk at Rainbow Reach, ( part of the Kepler
Track). We can also advise on arranging other activities including kayaking,
fishing, cruises and scenic trips.

Cadman Room : The Cadman Room, overlooking the garden, offers you the
comfort of a queen size bed.
Victorian Room : The Victorian Room gives you the luxury of a King size, oak
canopy bed. French doors open onto a sunny verandah.
The Stables Cottage : The cottage has a queen size bed and, in a second
bedroom, two single beds. It is also fully equipped to allow you to self
cater. The Cottage is also wheelchair accessible.
