situated inside the walled part of the village
(Medina). The house is 110 m2 divided in two floors
and also has a terrace, the same size as the second
floor. On the ground floor there are two bedrooms, the
bathroom and a small patio. The bedrooms have double
beds. The bathroom, like the whole house floor is from
Fez, and is in perfect condition.
On the
first floor there is a very big well-lit living room,
with two sofas that can be used as beds, also the
kitchen and a dining room. The kitchen has a fridge,
gas cooker, kitchen utensils, cutlery.The dining room
is well lit and has a table an four chairs. The last
floor is the terrace. The house is distinctive for its
light during the day and for the comfortable weather

noorderlijk bastion met zijn antieke scala, de medina en de mellah, het
vroegere joodse stadsgedeelte. In de verte kan men de zandduinen zien, die
reeds de stad naderen.

echtpaar , hebben dit huis, dat gebouwd werd in het begin van de vorige
eeuw, compleet gerenoveerd tot een sfeerval hotel. Deze wijk had vroeger
meer betekenis, namelijk door de aanwezigheid van een echte windmolen, die
vroeger de stad en het achterland van meel voorzag. De straatnaam is
gebleven: rue Touahen, dat molen betekend in het Arabisch. Van het gebouw
is slechts nog een ruïne overgebleven. Tegenwoordig is het een oord van
rust, die alleen wordt onderbroken door de branding en het gekrijs van de
