This Bed & Breakfast guest
house is located at just 600 meters away from the International Airport,
approximately one minute (walking distance). So if you are arriving, leaving
the country or an early flight; Hostel Los Volcanes is your best choice to
stay for a low price. Our seven beautiful and comfortable rooms have a
capacity for 21 guests. We have private rooms, rooms with chimney and a big
balcony, as well as shared rooms. All bathrooms have hot water.
We are very interested in the
comfort and well being of our guests; our rooms are big and clean we do our
best effort to maintain our high hygienic standars. Thinking of your rest,
our garden is one of the places where you can relax and spend some time. We
also have a patio with the sound of water that comes from a stone colonial
style fountain. From the balcony you are able to enjoy the view of the
active volcanoes that round the city: Pacaya, Fuego, Acatenango. From these
and other volcanoes names, we identified our rooms.

The lodge has 15 nice rooms
with private baths, hot water, fans. Eleven rooms have AC. Reservations $18-
$26 per person with dinner or breakfast. The restaurant offers home style
meals from $4 to $8 and Breakfast from $2 to $6. If you are staying in the
area or just passing, we welcome your visit. Breakfast/Lunch 6:30 A.M. to
4:00 P.M., DINNER AT 7:00 P.M. The hotel has a computer and Satellite
Internet service for answering your e-mail. You can pay by Master Card or
Visa over our internet payment service. In El Remate La Casa De Don David is
the only hotel that has a generator for emergency electricity.
In the Jungle of Petčn, is on
north-eastern shore of the Lake Petčn Itzŕ about 34 KM from Sta. Elena, on
the road to Tikal. This off-beat jungle paradise on the lake shore is the
first low impact-ecological place in the area, it offers good swimming on
the lake, nice nature trails (it lays in the reserve of Biotopo el Cahui),
quiet times and tranquillity, no electricity, no telephone, no hard liquors.
Shady, rustic hillside
gardens hold a little restaurant (mostly vegetarian food) and a bucolic
camping area. Accommodations include: simple but pleasant "Bungalows" with
bathroom and patio with palapa cover and hammock; Camarotes and Dormitories.

Finca Tatin is a family-run
eco-lodge. Because we are in a unique environment, we are different from

This is about as far away as

activities are available around the lake. Terje has worked out hikes that
are particularly interesting. For example, there is a trail the Mayans of
Jaibalito have used to go to the Solola market for centuries. From the
village of San Jose Chacaya (sha-ka-ya), atop the crater rim, Terje has a
hike down the ancient path, seen the photo below, to the lodge. The view is
beyond belief!

grows in the shade of the avocado trees and is served in the restaurant (or
in your room). The altitude, about a mile above sea level, provides the
ideal climate for a wide variety of lush tropical vegetation to flourish. We
offer a 25% off-season discount during May and September.
