Die Häuser - Das Feriendorf
hat 15 Häuser, ausserdem ein grösseres Haus mit Ferienwohnungen. Die
Ferienhäuser sin 15 – 42 m² gross, und für 2 – 5 Personen zum
Selbshaushalten eingerichtet. Die Ferienwohnungen (2 – 3 Zimmern + Küche)
sind 45 – 75 m² gross, es gibts Platz für 4 – 6 Personen. Alle Ferienhäuser
und –wohnungen haben el.Wärme, el.Herd, Kühlschrank, Kaffeemaschine,
Bettzueg (aber nicht Bettwäsche),warmes und kaltes Wasser, Dusche und WC und
Gartenmöbeln.

We offer three wooden cabins
built in 1987 in Mustaniemi on the shores of a beautiful lake Simpele near
Parikkala town, close to the villages of Intsilä and Kesusmaa§. It is only 4
kilometres from the Russian border, 70 km from Imatra, 18 km from Parikkala
and 73 km from Savonlinna. The Lake Simpele is famous for its clear waters
and fish abundance. Not far from the cabin you will find whitefish-rich
places for both net and line fishing. The lake is also known for its
canoeing route and bird watching sanctuaries.
Cabins 2, 3 and 4 were
renovated in 2003, and a new winter cottage was completed at the same time.
Each cabin has got its own patio and access to the lake shore, and stands 50
meters away from a neighbouring cabin. The surroundings are peaceful and
serene. Mushroom and berry picking is also possible. A perfect sand beach is
only 10 meters away from the cabins. The nearest neighbour is 50- 70 meters
away. Trees protect your privacy as well as a fence between the cabins 2 and
3. There is an easy car access to the cabins.

Our village, Unarin-Luusua,
is located 90 km (an hours drive) north of Rovaniemi and 70 km south of
Sodankyl”. The nearest airport or railwaystation is in Rovaniemi. Levi and
Yll”s (great for downhill skiing) are less than 100 km to the northwest. We
can provide transportation as needed. At a farmhouse holiday you can get a
good idea of farm life in Lapland. You can see the goats, calves, hens, dogs
and cats, as well as participate in their care. In the main house you are
able to buy food, handicrafts made by the hostess and farm products. Also,
home cooked Finnish meals are available a breakfast, half board and full
board.
The guests live in a lakeside
cottage. The bank of the lake is very suitable for swimming in summer. Two
canoes and a rowing boat are free for our guests to use. The cottage
consists of a combined sitting room and kitchen, two double bedrooms
downstairs, and in the spacious upstairs, balcony beds for four people. The
cottage is fully furnished with Lappish material and colors and equipped
with cooking facilities. It also has a fireplace, WC, shower and sauna.
De blokhut is direct
gelegen in een prachtige omgeving aan het
Puulavesimeer. Zeer ruime en nieuwe blokhut (140m²),
wintervast. Oppervlakte van het perceel 1,5 ha. 25km
van Mikkeli, 245 km ten noorden van Helsinki. Geschikt
tot 6-8 personen.
Kanttarelli
is our newest and finest log house. It is built
upon the old lake bottom of Lake Höytiäinen. Because
of Kanttarelli's large courtyard, a spacious beach
sauna and full fixture it is good for gatherings and
representation's or for small celebration's. On the
ground-floor of the main building is a veranda, two
bedrooms, a toilet, spacious (farmhouse) kitchen,
livingroom, sauna, tiled bathroom with toilet, and
also a sauna lobby for changing and cooling down. From
the lobby, access can be gained the garden and the
terrace.
Kalliola
log cabin was completed in 1995. It is built on
the sunny slopes of the old shoreline of lake
Höytiäinen, which the cabins` terrace and veranda
face. In the garden area are a log outhouse and
sheltered barbecue area with Lappish style fireplace.
Shaded by a beautiful sandy cove and wide glaciated
rock, is a separate lakeside sauna with a fireplace/utility
room. On the ground-floor of the main building, is a
veranda, two bedrooms, a toilet and spacious
(farmhouse) kitchen. Living room is equipped with TV,
video player and stereo's. The cabin has its own
rowing boat. In front of the lakeside sauna is a small
sports ground. Bowls and croquette can be played on
the roads and on the lawn.
Lahukka
was completed in 1997. It is a splendid, two-storey
log cabin in a cove of a small bay. On the sunny
evnings, Lahukka is bathed by golden sunsets. Situated
on the ground floor is a cosy farmhouse kitchen with a
soapstone fireplace, colour-TV, and CD player. There
is also one bedroom with a small window facing the
lake, a tiled bathroom and toilet, and a sauna heated
by wood-stove. A washing machine and drying cupboard
can also be found in the bathroom. An additional
outhouse is available for summer use. The cabin has
its own rowing boat. In front of the lakeside sauna is
a small sports ground. Lahukka is kept free from all
animals in mind of allergy sufferes. All internal
areas are smoke-free zones.
Niemi
is a cosy, two-storey log cabin in a small
cape. Sun shines to Nieme's cortyard whole day and on
the sunny evnings, Niemi is bathed by golden sunsets.
Situated on the ground floor is a farmhouse kitchen
with a soapstone fireplace, colour-TV, and CD-player.
In the upstairs there is sleeping beds for two and
access to balcony viewing the lake. There is a neat
veranda in front of the cabin and a terrace-like
garden lawn complete with garden furniture and
barbecue. An additional outhouse is available for
summer use. The cabin has its own rowing boat. In
front of the lakeside sauna is a small sports ground.
All internal areas are smoke-free zones.
Rantapirtti's
main cabin (50m2) is for four to eight persons and
two additional outhouses for two and three persons in
your use. On the main cabins ground floor there is a
large living room with a fireplace, colour-TV, and
CD-player/radio.The kitchen has: a dinner set for
eight persons, microwave, coffee machine, deep-freeze
refrigerator, and electric cooker. There is also a
tiny bedroom with a bunk bed. The wood-stove heated
separate sauna building includes a shower.
Water-closet is separate from main cabin. Outside area
includes also one barbeque place. The cabin has its
own rowing boat. In front of the lakeside sauna is a
small sports ground. All internal areas are smoke-free
zones.
Eurohostel.
The reception is open 24 hours. You can for examble
buy tickets for local transportation, the Helsinki
Cards or reserve your next hostel in Finland or abroad.

room: There are table, chairs, lockable wardrobes in
the rooms. The room size is 9 m2. Twin room: There are
table, chairs, lockable wardrobes in the rooms. The
room size is 14 m2. Triple rooms: There are table,
chairs, lockable wardrobes in the rooms. The room size
is 19 m2. There are toilets and showers on every floor.
Separate for women and men. Each of the five floors
has its own self-catering facilities with the hot
plates, microwave, lockable refrigerator and satelite
TV. You can borrow pots and pans and buy disposable
dishes from the reception. You may use Sauna every
morning - In the evenings with a extra price. Ask the
rates at the reception. Notice, max. 10 persons at
same time. Self service laundry is a great help for
budget travellers. Washing machines, spinner and a
dryer available - they all work with the coins. Iron
board also available.

Camping is located by the sea in Vuosaari in eastern
Helsinki. There are excellent connections to the city
centre. All the services required by campers are
available at Rastila or in the immediate vicinity. The
camping site is open year round.
