Arco Iris Lodge offers a
tranquil tropical retreat close to the centre of the village of Santa Elena,
Monteverde. Accommodation is in well designed, comfortable cabins,
constructed by local craftsmen using building materials from the surrounding

Delfin Amor Eco Lodge is
located on the Osa Peninsula, which is on the Pacific (west) side of Costa
Rica, on the southern most tip. Drake Bay is named after Sir Francis Drake
who legend has it, buried treasure here on the coast. We offer
accommodations in our beautiful screened-in cabinas with private baths. All
have ocean and rainforest views and offer comfort and privacy. Each cabina
has a double bed and a bunk bed (two singles) and can sleep 2-4 persons. We

Deep in the Osa Peninsula
jungle rainforest, Costa Rica. Welcome to the Iguana Lodge, deep in the Osa
Peninsula rainforest, planted on A MAGNIFICENT beach, there lives a world
that once was all there was the surf rolls in, the moon rises, the
fiery-billed aracaris sing and the howler monkeys call...and on the veranda
you begin your quest FOR TRUE ADVENTURE WHILE refining the vanishing but
cherished art of relaxation.
In the midst of this
spectacular setting, a secluded and exotic jungle-beach ecolodge awaits you.
Only steps from the beach, the private two story bungalows are set on
pillars and are built with indigenous hardwoods and local materials. The
upstairs is the master bedroom with two beds and an outer deck overlooking
the magnificent Golfo Dulce. The screened-in upper level has wooden louvers
to control ventilation and provide protection from the rain. On the ground
level, there is a private bath with beautifully tiled showers. The lower
level also has two additional beds to accommodate extra guests. Solar power
provides energy for fans and lights.
The Osa Peninsula is one of
the mostbiologically intense places on our planet. It is the "Last Great
Peninsula", truly untouched by the ravages of civilization. Here you will
find ancient rainforests withover 350 species of birds, 115 species of
reptiles, 750 species of trees and 10,000 species of insects...along with
the fantastic 100,000 acre Corcovado National Park.
The restaurant at 'The Pearl'
is locally known as the Mono Chingo (Naked Monkey) Bar and Grill which
offers great food and drink. The Pearl' has eight charming rooms perched
high above the ground floor; four overlook the surf while the other four
look out over the jungle. A wide balcony surrounds the lot, with lounge
chairs to relax and enjoy the view. Each breezy and charming room has a
private bath with shower, a comfortable double bed, and of course the ever
present overhead tropical fan to keep you cool. On our beautiful six mile
stretch beach five species of turtles; Green, Black, Hawksbill, Olive Ridley,
and occasionally the Leatherback Turtles (just spotted this last season) lay
their eggs.

and peace, Las Caletas - Drake Bay, is for you. Located close to the
Corcovado National Park, Osa Peninsula, the access to our lodge is only
possible by boat, riding or walking in.
The small family atmosphere
(the owners are a Tico and Swiss couple) is condusive to releasing the
pent-up stress of modern life and soaking up the tropical ambiance. The
cabins and owners' house are perched atop a steep ridge right above a small
private cove, with expansive views of the Pacific and the coastline north of
Drake Bay. Careful landscaping highlights the natural setting, though
electricity is available in all the rooms through noiseless solar panels and
a water-driven turbine. The forest slopes gently down to the lodge itself.
Playa Zancudo is a remote
southern Costa Rica beach, miles and miles of pure sand, meeting the surf
that rolls in along a 6 mile narrow peninsula. This beach is fringed with
coconut and almond trees, and backed by a huge mangrove jungle estuary. Our
