from the busy town of Pucon you will find the guest house Ruka Rayen. Run by
a Chilean & Austrian couple. They are happy to open their home to you to
experience the local cultures and traditions. Peter is Austrian and has
travelled many countries by motorcycle and has plenty of mountaineering
experience. Margot is Mapuche (Native Indian) and is proud of her heritage.
She will share with you the local traditions, pastimes and her love of
working with horses.

The Lodge “Live Nature” is a
new space on the mountain where you can reach a greater contact with nature
while practicing outdoor adventure sports. With a maximum capacity of 12
visitors, guests will be able to enjoy the environment that surrounds us
with the peace and tranquillity that you look for.
We have created a new concept
in lodging, combining the natural pleasures of a campground with the comfort
of a luxury lodge, characterized by world class service, activities guided
by experienced professionals, and the best cuisine of the area. Our
objective is completely ecological: it consists of sharing unique places of
the Araucanía region with the visitors, preserving these areas just as we
find them and causing the minimum impact possible.
At our farm, we have cows,
pigs, chickens an ducks as well as supplying our restaurant with fresh milk
an eggs. We also have an organic garden and vegetables to serve at the
Landhaus. By keeping our Landhaus small we guarantee our family owned
guesthouse to be friendly, personal and inviting. You may also choose to
enjoy the nature and beauty that surrounds, you read, draw, or simply relax
on the grass. If all this is not enough, the enchanting attractions of the
region are at your disposal with small or large excursions and hikes.
Our Landhaus is in a
beautiful 56 acre park like setting with a spectacular view of the
surrounding volcanoes. Newly built with cosy rooms offering comfort at a
more affordable price. Each room is equipped with 2-4 beds, private bathroom
and central heat. For breakfast we offer a large selection of farm grown
natural delights.
LA TETERA is a charming,
comfortable but moderately priced Guesthouse, especially thought for
international, individual travellers. After more than 10 years since its
beginning, the Hostel is recommended in most guide books, including the
Lonely Planet and the South American Handbook. Because we only have six
rooms, the contact with the guests is very close.
Most rooms have shared bath,
but there is also one with private bathroom. The building has lots of native
wood that gives a cozy atmosphere. You will also find comfortable beds,
clean bathrooms, a living room area and a garden. Central heating keeps you
warm in cold and rainy days. LA TETERA is located in downtown Pucón, one
block off the main street. The bus terminals are only four blocks away and
it is about five blocks to the beach. We offer accommodation with breakfast,
which is by now largely known among travellers. It includes real coffee,
selected teas, fresh fruit juice, home-made bread, müesli, yoghurt, ham and
eggs, etc.
We are a small family
business with a friendly ambiance under German management with an easy going
pioneering spirit. The ranch is situated about 32 km (20 miles) east of
Pucon, 700 km (480 miles) south of Santiago in the IX. Region, nested in the
jungle, amidst spectacular waterfalls, hot springs and volcanoes.
Each of our rustic cabins

In the middle of the

Cabin, overlooking the place
where the horses are saddled to one side, and the old orchard with the
crystal clear river in it’s back to the other. Situated between the Liucura
river and the forest reserve of ”cerros de Quelhue” mountain range in the
back, from almost every place you get great views over the snow covered
Volcanoes Villarrica, Quetrupillan and Lanin. New::4 days at the farm

trekking, horse trails.
About 5 km from the paved
road to National-Parc Conguillio, surrounded of nature is living the
Genkinger-Calfín-family. On a farm of 25 has Adela (mapuche) and Helmut (suabian)
are running a small biological agriculture with cattle, gees, chicken and
honey-bees. They are expecting visitors, who would like to live in their new
guesthouse nearby or who want to try in the Hosteria (small restaurant) a
suabian piece of cake or a piece of "Hefezopf" (suabian sweet yeast-bread)
with a cup of coffee and relax on the chilean-contryside.
Matze, the small sunshine of
the Hosteria is telling the latest news to the visitors, either in suabian
or in Spanish. The guesthouse with a marvellous view to the snow-capped
volcano Llaima is destinated from single-travellers to whole families. It is
built almost entirely of wood. On the roof, a solar-panel is taking care of
the ecological-preparation of the hot water.
La Torre Suiza is a small and
charming hostel for the independent budget traveler. A cosy wooden
Swiss-Chalet with a unique atmosphere, it's a real home away from home. But
be warned, most guests stay much longer than planned.
Villarrica is the perfect
base to explore the surrounding area. Located only thirty minutes from Pucón,
it's best for those looking for a less touristy and quiet alternative off
the beaten track. All the area's main attractions are easily accessible from
Villarrica. Our philosophy: after having cycled around half the world we
settled down in Villarrica and opened up this hostel. Our goal is to provide
everything a traveler needs, exactly what we were always looking for during
our travels. We try to make you feel at home and give you all the
