Auberge Villa Rose is de ideale plek voor een verblijf in Bobo Dioulasso in het zuidwesten van Burkina Faso. Ooit het woonhuis van een Fransman, is het nu omgedoopt als klein hotel. De binnentuin is een oase van groen, er staat een grote tafel onder een mooi afdak, een prima plek om te ontbijten. Villa Rose ligt in het centrum de stad, niet ver van het station; je komt makkelijk te voet in het centrum van Bobo.

De eigenaars Moctar Salamatao, geboren en getogen in Bobo-Dioulasso en Franca Berkvens, Nederlandse, en een deel van het jaar in Bobo zijn in december 2006 gestart met het verfraaien van de kamers en de tuin. Hun gezamenlijke inspanningen hebben geresulteerd in een Auberge, die te meten valt aan Europese/ Westerse standaard. Auberge Villa Rose is een goede start- en ontmoetingsplaats om het Afrikaanse leven in al zijn facetten te beleven en te ondergaan. Auberge Villa Rose biedt tevens de mogelijkheid tot ecotoerisme.
